Overview
Guilds are a significant aspect of Grow a Garden 2, offering players the opportunity to team up and tackle challenges together. By joining a guild, players can enjoy collaborative gameplay and earn exclusive rewards that are not available through solo play.
Managed by the NPC Gilbert, guilds allow players to invite others, expand membership, and customize their group. Guilds also participate in weekly competitions, making them an exciting way to engage with the game at a higher level.
Guilds were not part of the original Grow A Garden game, making them a unique addition to the sequel.
Creating and Joining a Guild
Guilds can be established by interacting with Gilbert at the Guild Stand, which is centrally located alongside the Sell Stand and Props Shop. Creating a guild costs 99 Sheckles, while joining is free if you receive an invitation.
To set up a guild, players must complete a form that includes naming the guild, selecting a tag, and drafting a description. Additionally, new guilds can be personalized with an icon and up to three colors.
Managing Guilds
Guilds have a tiered role system that governs permissions. The highest role, Owner, has comprehensive control, including editing settings and disbanding the guild. Elders can assist by inviting new members, while Members enjoy standard participation.
Guild owners can increase the number of members by purchasing additional slots, with the maximum capacity set at 50 players. Each slot increase must be purchased in sequence, with costs rising as the guild grows.
Guild Competitions
Guilds can participate in weekly competitions focused on different goals, such as harvesting the heaviest crops or earning the most Sheckles from sales. These competitions are an excellent way for guilds to showcase their farming prowess and climb the leaderboards.
Points are awarded based on the weight of harvested crops, with rewards distributed at the end of each week according to leaderboard rankings. Prizes include rare seeds, unique pets, and more, delivered directly to participants through the Mailbox.
Leaving or Disbanding a Guild
Members and Elders have the freedom to leave a guild whenever they wish. However, the Owner must disband the guild if they wish to leave, which will dissolve the group entirely and remove all members.
